The first picture has emerged of a huge conference venue in Edinburgh fitted with coronavirus vaccination booths.
Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is a multi-purpose venue usually used for events which host 50 – 2,000 delegates.
But now it will be used as part of the NHS mass vaccination programme.
The picture was shared online by the Director of Nursing and primary/community care NHS Lothian, Pat Wynne, who confirmed: "As our hardworking teams continue with our care home, over 80s, and health and social care staff vaccination plans, here is a sneak preview of what is coming."
It comes as pictures emerged of thousands of health and social care staff queuing up to be vaccinated in just ten hours at NHS Louisa Jordan as part of a 'super Saturday' vaccination drive.
A total of 65 stations were mobilised at the temporary hospital at the Scottish Events Campus (SEC) for the mass vaccination drive which kicked off at 8.45am on Saturday 16 January.
Queen Margaret University officials have also announced the campus in East Lothian will begin operations as a mass vaccination hub from February.
As reported by Edinburgh Live, the Scottish Government published the country's Covid-19 vaccine strategy earlier this week, with three Edinburgh and Lothian venues already identified for the mass rollout.
The Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Queen Margaret University in Musselburgh and the Pyramids Business Park in Bathgate have all been identified as settings "capable of administering in excess of 200,000 vaccinations per week".
