Scotland has recorded 11 new deaths of people who have tested positive for Coronavirus and 6,152 new cases of COVID-19 reported, according to the latest Scottish Government data.
Figures published in the latest data indicate that the death toll under the daily measure - of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days - is now 8,165.
51,031 new Coronavirus tests that brought about results were carried out - with the daily test positivity rate standing at 12.9 percent.
A total of 670 people were in hospital on Monday with recently confirmed Covid-19, with 58 patients in intensive care.
So far, 4,117,147 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,717,587 have received their second dose.
NHS Lothian had an infection of 8,312.6 per 100,000 of the population as of September 2.
