Public health bosses have said they are 'extremely encouraged' by the steep decline in Covid cases across the county.
The public has been praised for their efforts as the government continues to execute its 'roadmap' which intends to lead to an end in restrictions on social contact in June this year.
So, with rates falling across Nottinghamshire, how do they compare with the national average of 59.2 per 100,000 people?
The area with the highest rate is Bassetlaw, in the north of the county, where health officials say there has been outbreaks in some workplaces and care homes.
The region's rate is 144.2 per 100,000 people according to the latest data due to 167 new cases in the seven days leading to March 8.
This has in fact risen from the previous week, where the rate stood at 128.6 and there had been 151 cases.
This gives Bassetlaw the seventh highest infection rate in the country and by far the highest rate in Nottinghamshire and means it's rates are far above the national average.
Nottingham, too, also has a rate above the average at 82.6 - there have been 275 new cases in the most recent seven day period.
The good news, however, is this has fallen drastically compared to the week before - when the rate was 131.3 due to 437 cases.
Mansfield's rate falls just below Nottingham's at 82.3, again falling from 126.2 the week before. This means it remains above the national average.
Gedling's rate is 77.2, falling from 121.3, while Ashfield's is slightly lower at 71.9 - less than half of the previous week's rate at 155.6.
Newark and Sherwood comes next with a rate of 69.4, less than 106.2 the previous week. While Rushcliffe's rate has dropped from 99.8 to 66.3 in the latest figures.
Only Broxtowe borough, which has the lowest rate in the county at 57.9, falls has a rate below the current average in England. Broxtowe's rate has dropped from 101.7 a week ago.
Below is a run down of every area's rate across the country with the worst affected area at the top:
Here is the list in full. From left to right, it reads: name of local authority; rate of new cases in the seven days to March 8; number (in brackets) of new cases recorded in the seven days to March 8; rate of new cases in the seven days to March 1; number (in brackets) of new cases recorded in the seven days to March 1.
