Seven further coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in Northern Ireland on Tuesday.
The death toll from the Department of Health now stands at 2,258.
Five of the fatalities are said to have occurred during the current reporting period, and two outside of it.
A further 1,564 positive Covid cases have also been recorded in NI today.
This brings the total number of positive cases to 178,467 since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health.
Over the past seven days, the Department said 10,099 individuals have tested positive in Northern Ireland.
According to figures released on Tuesday, there are currently 392 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital and 47 in intensive care.
Meanwhile, a Co Down GAA player, who is battling Covid-19 in hospital, is urging other unvaccinated people to get their jab.
Kieran Rogers from Kilcoo Eoghan Rua GAC club shared his story in a bid to get others to look after their health and the health of all around them by taking the vaccine.
Of the 11 patients in the ICU ward at Craigavon Area Hospital where Kieran is currently being treated for Coronavirus, he said not one of them is vaccinated.
Kieran asked his club to share his story from his hospital bed in the hope it will encourage those still unvaccinated to "please take up the offer".
The father-of-four blamed "laziness and stupidity" for being unvaccinated himself but added: "When I beat this I will (be) vaccinating at the earliest possible opportunity.
