Seven further coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in Northern Ireland on Friday.
The death toll from the Department of Health now stands at 2,691.
The fatalities are said to have occurred during the current reporting period.
A further 1,321 positive Covid cases have also been recorded in NI today.
This brings the total number of positive cases to 273,064 since the start of the pandemic, according to the Department of Health.
Over the past seven days, the Department said 8,224 individuals have tested positive in Northern Ireland.
According to figures released on Friday, there are currently 351 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital and 34 in intensive care.
Meanwhile, organisers of Northern Ireland's biggest Christmas market have announced that proof of vaccination or Covid status will be required for entry during busy periods.
Over one million people are expected to visit the Belfast Christmas Market this year.
Operators, Market Place Europe, have said that during the weekends when the market is expected to be busy, visitors will need to supply evidence of vaccination or will need to take a lateral flow test before being granted access.
In addition, footfall will be closely monitored and when nearing capacity, a queuing system will be put in place.
There will be a number of hand sanitising stations throughout the market and visitors will be encouraged to wear masks and make payments using cards instead of cash where possible.
