Covid NI: No further deaths and 570 coronavirus cases reported

The Department of Health has recorded no further coronavirus-related deaths.

The death toll from the DoH remains at 2,156, according to figures released today.

Wednesday's dashboard also reports a further 570 positive cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of positive cases to 130,187 since the start of the pandemic.

Over the past seven days, the Department said 3,054 individuals have tested positive in Northern Ireland.

There are currently 43 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital and four in intensive care.

Meanwhile, a mobile vaccine clinic has opened on Wednesday morning at Queen's University.

Based in the Whitla Hall in South Belfast, it will open from 10am until 6pm until Saturday, July 10.

It is for those who have not received the first dose of any Covid vaccine yet and will offer doses of the Pfizer jab.

No appointment is necessary, Northern Ireland residents just have to show up while bringing a form of ID.

Figures released on Thursday show that 2,079,758 vaccines administered in total in NI to date.

Walk-in vaccines are also available at the SSE Arena until this Sunday.
