Covid NI: No further coronavirus related deaths and 95 cases recorded by DoH

The Department of Health has today reported no further coronavirus related deaths.

According to the latest update, the death toll from the DoH stands at 2,144.

Thursday's dashboard also reports a further 95 positive cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of positive cases to 120,087 since the start of the pandemic.

Over the past seven days, the Department said 625 individuals have tested positive in Northern Ireland.

There are currently 61 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital and eight in intensive care.

Meanwhile, from Friday licensed and unlicensed outdoor premises will be allowed to reopen.

There are no rules on having to pre-book before visiting and customers will not have to order a substantial meal in order to be served.

A maximum of six people from two households can be seated together although children aged 12 and under are not counted in the total if they all belong to a single household.

Non essential retail, along with gyms and swimming pools will also reopen their doors tomorrow.
