The Department of Health has today reported no further coronavirus related deaths.

According to the latest update from the Department, the death toll stands at 2,146.

Thursday's dashboard also reports a further 102 positive cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of positive cases to 120,702 since the start of the pandemic.

Over the past seven days, the Department said 626 individuals have tested positive in Northern Ireland.

There are currently 67 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital and seven in intensive care.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Robin Swann has urged everyone who is eligible to get their Covid-19 jab to do so as "the more people we can get vaccinated, the sooner we can return to normal".

He was speaking after a visit to the Belfast Vaccination Centre on Wednesday and praised those responsible for the "fantastic operation" in rolling out Northern Ireland's programme.

Looking at the NI Covid-19 Vaccinations Dashboard, by 8.30am on Thursday morning a total of 1,415,408 jabs had been administered - 956,646 first doses and 458,762 second doses.
