Covid NI: No deaths and 54 coronavirus cases reported in NI

The Department of Health has recorded no further coronavirus related deaths.

The death toll from the DoH remains at 2,154.

Monday's dashboard also reports a further 54 positive cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of positive cases to 123,186 since the start of the pandemic.

Over the past seven days, the Department said 523 individuals have tested positive in Northern Ireland.

There are currently 16 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital and 1 in intensive care.

Meanwhile, a Stormont minister has given a date for when they believe live music will return in Northern Ireland.

Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey has said that she is looking at live music returning in bars, clubs and music venues on June 21, when further lockdown restrictions are expected to be relaxed.

She also hinted at the 500 person cap on outdoor events being lifted.

Although the date will be approved when the Executive meets to review the measures next week.
