Covid NI Dashboard figures reveal ten more deaths

Saturday's Department of Health Covid ‘Dashboard’ has revealed ten more deaths linked to the virus.

The figures published this afternoon also show that 511 individuals have tested positive for Covid in the last 24 hour period.

The Department says that of the ten deaths reported, two “were outside the 24 hour period”.

In line with figures over recent days, 49 ICU beds are currently occupied with Covid-19 patients, while there are 422 Covid patients in Northern Ireland’s hospitals in total.

Bed occupancy across the region, the Dashboard states, is at 98%.

It also says that there are currently 147 ‘active’ care home outbreaks. The total number of deaths now reported by the Department stands at 846. A total of 3,900 people have tested positive for the virus in the last seven days.
