Large queues and waits of up to one hour have been reported by people getting their Covid booster jabs in Nottingham.
Pictures from outside a vaccination centre at The Forest Recreation Ground have shown the scale of the queues from people hoping to get their third jab this winter.
Councillor Linda Woodings, Labour and Co-operative Councillor for Basford on Nottingham City Council, said she experienced problems while out getting her booster jab.
She recently Tweeted: "Covid booster jabs at Forest Rec in Nottingham a one hour wait in the rain.
"The covered tunnel has no one waiting but is only for appointments. This is ridiculous Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG at least give those queueing some shelter."
One man, who asked not to be named, said: "I queued for an hour for my booster jab. Everyone in the queue said they had been waiting an hour.
"When I got in to have my vaccine I was told it was because there wasn’t enough vaccinators. They only had three there.
"Everyone in the queue said they had appointments."
CCG officials said they were pleased so many people were taking up the offer of a booster jab and that they appreciated people's patience while waiting at their sites.
A Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG spokesperson said: "We are pleased the public are keen to be protected over the winter months ahead.
"Some of our sites are experiencing queues and we are grateful for the public’s patience as our staff continue to work very hard to vaccinate as many people as possible.”
