Covid jobs crisis - all the major cuts since the pandemic started

Around 7,960 job losses have been announced in major redundancies at big British employers this week as many businesses try to slimline after the coronavirus took a massive chunk from their profits.

The Evening Standard became the latest to announce a round of approximately 115 redundancies after its advertising revenue took a blow.

It followed WH Smith, Arsenal, and Pizza Express, who have all said they will likely lay off hundreds of staff.
