Fáilte Ireland have announced that this Dublin's New Year's Festival has been cancelled.
Six events were planned across the city to help those in the capital ring in 2022, but like many others, they have now been done away with.
Acts such as Hudson Taylor, Róisín O and Fia Moon were set to play the New Year's Eve matinée in Dublin Castle and there was scheduled to be a street party taking place near Stephen's Green.
Picture This, Lyra and Ryan Sheridan were planned to play the countdown concert with Gavin James taking to the stage on New Year's Day.
The highly anticipated events are no longer able to go ahead due to new government restrictions.
Fáilte Ireland has assured ticket-holders that they will all receive complete refunds.
They said: "Following the Government’s announcement of new public health measures, Fáilte Ireland along with Dublin City Council and their event partners, has taken the decision to cancel New Year's Festival."
"Ticketholders will be contacted directly over the coming days and will receive a full refund."

Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has given a clear assessment of the government's plans when it comes to tackling Covid-19 in the weeks ahead.
The new rules will be in place until January 30 as Ireland contends with a wave of Omicron infections.
When asked by reporters where Ireland stands in terms of the situation with the virus, Mr Varadkar said case numbers are high but it remains to be seen what impact this has on people becoming seriously ill.
"In terms of giving an assessment of where we stand, we're certainly seeing the number of daily cases rising again, the numbers that come to the lab as opposed to the Department of Health figures, which sometimes include a backlog or a shortfall," he said.
