A number of drop in vaccination centres have open across parts of Scotland today as the programme ramps up.
The Scottish Government is looking vaccinate as many people as possible after there was a spike in cases in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region.
The so-called Indian variant has seen a rise in cases, especially in the south side of Glasgow, and hospitalisations over the last couple of weeks.
In order to combat the spread people aged 40 or over and have not had their first dose or if someone has waited more than 10 weeks for a second dose of AstraZeneca, in any age category, can walk up and get vaccinated.
It will be operating on a first come first served basis and there will be a set capacity each day.
Health Secretary Humza Yousaf has urged people to use the facilities to get inoculated.
He tweeted: "Details of today's drop in vaccination clinics in Greater Glasgow & Clyde Healthboard. If you are 40yrs + and awaiting your first dose or have been waiting more than 10 weeks for your 2nd dose of AstraZeneca (in any age category), please drop in."
