COVID-hit Brisbane have 10 new players in their squad for the Big Bash League match against the Melbourne Renegades in Geelong.

After 12 of their players and coach Wade Seccombe tested positive and were forced into isolation, only new skipper Tom Cooper, Sam Heazlett and Mujeeb Ur Rahman remain.

Their Wednesday night game against the Sydney Sixers on the Gold Coast was rescheduled because Brisbane could not field a team in time.

The Renegades won the toss late on Thursday afternoon and fielded at Geelong's GMHBA Stadium.

RENEGADES: Nic Maddinson (c), Sam Harper (wk), Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh, Mackenzie Harvey, James Seymour, Will Sutherland, James Pattinson, Kane Richardson, Zak Evans, Zahir Khan.

BRISBANE: Tom Cooper (c), Jake Lehmann, Jack Clayton, Fakhar Zaman, Sam Heazlett, Lachlan Pfeffer (wk), Steven McGiffin, Will Prestwidge, Ronan McDonald, David Grant, Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
