(Picture: Getty Images)Actor Tom Cruise was bopping around London during the sports festivities over the weekend—but he still maintained Covid-19 protocols.
The day after visiting Wimbledon to watch the women’s singles final, the Mission Impossible star headed over to Wembley to watch the last game in the Euro 2020 tournament with England vs. Italy, to which Italy won.
According to TMZ, Cruise Was grinning ear-to-ear as he took pictures with some fans that requested a pic from him before he headed to the match on Sunday evening. But he was also very safe about the situation.
Cruise didn’t remove his mask until it was time to take the picture, and even then, he generally kept himself at bay, telling people to “keep a flying-V formation,” as expressed by the outlet.
Cruise stood in front of the fans stood on either side behind him.
The Delta variant of the Covid-19 virus has been at the forefront of infections in England as of late, so it seems that Cruise is being mindful of the risks associated with it.
Per a symptom study in the United Kingdom, roughly 19 out of 20 new cases of Covid-19 are from the delta variant. For fully vaccinated people, the key symptoms of the new strain include sore throat, headache, and runny nose, to name a few.
However, once Cruise got inside Wembley, he took off the mask. He showed his bare face as he sat amongst other famous people, including former soccer star David Beckham and supermodel and businesswoman Kate Moss
Cruise is shooting the latest installment of the Mission Impossible series, Mission: Impossible 7 in England. So, it appears that he has been soaking in all the enjoyment he can with the ongoing events.
On Saturday, he was spotted with his co-stars in the audience watching Ashleigh Barty and Karolína Plíšková play each other at Wimbledon.

It appeared that the virus wasn’t a bother to him at that moment, but it’s possible that he felt comfortable enough to be maskless around his coworkers.
Mission: Impossible 7 is set to be released on May 27, 2022.
