A further 18,270 people have tested positive for Covid in the UK - the highest daily number since February 5.
A further 23 deaths have also been reported. Last Saturday there were 10,321 new infections and 14 deaths.
It comes as the Government ramps up its drive to vaccinate as many people as possible ahead of the expected relaxing of restrictions on July 19.
The ‘Grab a Jab’ initiative has seen walk-in vaccine centres open across England. You can find where the vaccine centres in London are here.
It follows last week’s Super Saturday when the biggest number of daily jabs were given in London.
People over 18 can now book an appointment online via the NHS website quoting their NHS number or GP details.
