Covid: Active cases at 54 in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: The Covid cases refused to go down in the state with 17 new cases on Friday. With discharge of 11 patients, the active cases increased to 105. In Ahmedabad, 9 new cases were recorded and 4 of the patients were discharged, taking the active cases to 54.

Apart from Ahmedabad, Vadodara city recorded 4 cases, Gandhinagar city 2, Rajkot city 1 and Gandhinagar district 1 cases. With the update, 20 out of 33 districts in Gujarat remained Covid-free. Out of total active cases, 2 were on ventilator. Gujarat in 24 hours vaccinated 11,544 persons for the first dose and 86,912 for the second.
