Covid-19: Puducherry records test positivity rate of 3.2%

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry reported 73 fresh Covid-19 cases on Thursday when 66 patients were discharged, leaving 767 active cases in the Union territory.

So far, the UT has reported 1.23 lakh cases, of which 1.2 lakh patients recovered, registering a recovery rate of 97.9%. The positivity rate of samples (2,295) tested on Thursday stood at 3.2%. The territory reported zero Covid- deaths on Thursday leaving the toll unchanged at 1,809.

Healthcare authorities have so far administered 7.92 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine (including the second dose) to beneficiaries.
