Covid-19 Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of the latest figures

There has been 518 new positive Covid-19 cases according to the Department of Health.

The department's daily dashboard says there have been 11 further deaths reported, with nine of these taking place in the previous 24 hours.

The Northern Irish  death toll from the virus is now 889.

In the past week there have been 3,535 new cases of the virus, with 48,229 individuals contracting it since the outbreak began.

Belfast has seen  the largest number of new cases in the past seven days with 646, following by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon with 520 and Causeway, Coast and Glens with 327.

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon has the highest infection rate at 243.4 per 100,000.

Those aged  20 to 39 have seen the largest number of new infection in the past week, with 1,111, followed by those aged 40 to 59 with 1,089.

There are currently 452 inpatients in hospital with Covid-19 with the Belfast Trust seeing the largest number of admissions in the past 14 days with 147. However there have also been 157 discharges during the same period.

There are 44 patients in intensive care with the virus and 37 are using ventilators.

Hospitals in Northern Ireland are currently 102% above their bed capacity with 251 people waiting to be admitted.

In care and residential homes there are 166 confirmed Covid-19 outbreaks and three suspected ones. There have been 439 acute respiratory outbreaks since the start of the pandemic in care and residential homes.

To date, 544,664 individuals have been tested for the virus.
