Covid-19 Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of the latest figures

There have been 510 new positive cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours according to the Department of Health.

The department's daily dashboard says there has been 12 further deaths recorded, with 11 of these taking place in the past day, bringing the death toll from the virus to 1,166 in Northern Ireland.

In the past week, 3,539 people have been infected with the coronavirus.

Armagh City, Bandbridge and Craigavon has had the highest number of new cases in the past seven days with 466, followed by Belfast with 458 and Newry, Mourne and Down with 417.

Those aged 20 to 39 have had the highest number of positive tests with 1,140 followed by those aged 40 to 59 with 1,099 and those aged 60 to 79 with 510.

There are currently 445 inpatients in hospital with Covid-19, with 453 of these being admitted in the past 14 days. During the same period 501 patients were discharged from hospital.

The Northern Trust has had the most admissions with 137, followed by Belfast with 111.

There are 31 patients in intensive care with the virus, with 26 of these using ventilators.

Northern Irish hospitals are 61 beds over capacity and have 192 patients awaiting to be admitted.

In care and residential homes, there are 82 confirmed Covid-19 outbreaks and there have been 486 acute respiratory outbreaks since the outbreak began.

To date, 60,797 people have tested positive for the virus and 625,194 individuals have been tested.
