NAVI MUMBAI: The positivity rate in the NMMC area has dropped below 1.5% now, as per the weekly average, compared to the previous lowest of 2% reported last week.
Similarly, the daily Covid cases have dipped to under 100 since the last five days despite a spurt in testing. On July 20, the infectivity rate had dropped below 1% which is the lowest in several months. Just 55 cases were reported on Tuesday from the 7,300 tests that were carried out by NMMC, bringing the positivity rate to a mere .075%.
