Ten counties are best placed to leave lockdown as three areas hit an important milestone.
Ireland's Level Five restrictions are due to expire on December 1, and the number of cases in several regions has plummeted since the measures were introduced.
One of the key statistics used by health officials to determine the scale of an outbreak in a region is the 14-day incidence rate of confirmed cases per 100,000 population.
And three counties have hit an important milestone as their incidence rate has dipped under 100.
While there's more good news, as a total of ten counties are now reporting an incidence of under 130.
Just seven days ago, only one county, Leitrim, was under 100. And only one other region, Wicklow, was under 130.

However a big change has seen rates plummet across the country, and the ten counties with an incidence under 100 are now: Carlow, Waterford, Monaghan, Tipperary, Kildare, Galway, Offaly, Wicklow, Wexford and Leitrim.
