VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra Pradesh reported 86 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the cumulative caseload to 23,18,262.
The state did not record any Covid-related deaths for the third consecutive day. Altogether, 288 patients were declared cured. There are currently 1,341 active cases with the 23,02,192 cumulative recoveries and 14,729 fatalities.
The active caseload has decreased below the 500 mark in all the districts, including East Godavari. Six districts have less than 50 active cases each.
Of the 1,341 active cases, only 79 patients are receiving treatment at Covid-19 hospitals. About 250 hospitals are serving Covid-19 patients with a combined bed capacity of 31,000.
