Queensland COVID-19 exposure sites include locations on Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Banyo, Strathpine, Kallangur and Cairns airport

A COVID-19 public health alert has been issued for new contact tracing locations in Buddina and Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.

It comes as a new locally acquired case of COVID was detected on the Gold Coast, believed to be the link to a recent cluster there.

Authorities are still working with the man on his movements, and will update the site accordingly.

There was also a health alert relating to passengers who flew from Sydney to Cairns on December 3.

Passengers seated in rows 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Jetstar flight JQ950 on Friday have been named as close contacts, while locations at Cairns airport have been listed as low-risk contact sites.

As always, ensure you check the health advice in the table below (click "More" if you are on a mobile device) for what to do if you have visited any of the sites rated as close contact, casual contact or low-risk contact.

The Queensland Health contact tracing sites list is regularly updated as new information comes to hand.
