The 130 Racecourse Road public housing tower in Flemington is among dozens of new exposure sites listed in Victoria.
Residents who share a floor with the infected family — who have now all been moved to hotel quarantine — will have to quarantine for 14 days. Other parts of the building are being treated as tier 1 sites.
The public housing tower is one of the nine apartment blocks locked down at short notice in July last year.
The way the lockdown was handled, including the rapid deployment of police to the towers, breached the human rights of the residents, the Ombudsman later found.
A butcher in Kealba, the Coles at Taylors Hill Village Shopping Centre, a McDonald's restaurant in Yallambie and an indoor cricket centre in St Kilda have also been added.
