Coronavirus cases are increasing in every region of England, however 98% of over-50s now have antibodies, according to new data.
Public Health England's weekly surveillance report claims an estimated 42,000 hospitalisations and more than 14,000 deaths have been prevented by the country's vaccination campaign.
More than 79% of England's adults now have antibodies to help them fight off Covid-19, with the figure rising to 98% for over-50s, PHE said.
These adults have gained protection through either catching the virus or being vaccinated.
Meanwhile, Covid case rates are increasing in all regions and age groups in England.
Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty said he expects cases to keep rising over the next few weeks due to the Delta variant being "significantly more transmissible" than the Alpha strain.
Adults in their 20s are currently suffering the highest proportion of infections, with 195.9 cases per 100,000 people, the PHE report found.
The North West is the worst-affected area of the country, with 196.9 cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to June 13, up week-on-week from 152.0.
This is the highest rate for the region since the week ending February 7.
The second worst area is North East England with a rate of 92.6 - far higher than Eastern England, which had 37 cases per 100,000 people.
The Covid hospital admission rate is also on the rise and currently stands at 1.48 per 100,000 people - up from 1.13 the week before.
Dr Yvonne Doyle, Medical Director of Public Health England, said: “Case rates have increased across all age groups and regions around England, and we are seeing further increases in hospitalisations.
"We now know that two doses of either vaccine offers very high levels of protection against hospitalisation from all variants, including Delta and so it is important to take up the offer of the vaccine to protect yourself and others.
“We know that many of you will be currently enjoying Euro 2020, but please when going to fan zones or celebrating with friends, follow the guidelines in place and enjoy the tournament safely.”
Everyone aged 18 and over will be able to book their vaccine in England from Friday.
