- ACT — No deaths, 42 cases in hospital

Victoria
There have been another three COVID-19 deaths in Victoria.
There are 331 cases in hospital, with 16 of those in intensive care and four requiring ventilation.
There were 12,150 new cases across the state today.
New South Wales
New South Wale has recorded 15 more COVID-19 deaths.
There are 1,444 cases in hospital, 51 of whom are in intensive care.
There were 24,151 new cases announced across the state today.
Queensland
One COVID-19 death has been reported in the state, with 8,534 new cases on record.
There are 468 people in hospital with the virus and 14 of those are in ICU.
The state has 56,487 active cases.
Tasmania
Tasmania has recorded one new COVID-related death, bringing the total to 32 for the pandemic and the 19th since the state's border reopened to hotspots in December.
There are 2,408 new cases recorded in the latest reporting period, down slightly from yesterday, and a drop in active cases to 12,720.
There are 39 people in hospital with the virus but only 19 are being treated specifically for their COVID symptoms.
One person is in ICU.
Northern Territory
Another 513 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the territory in the most-recent reporting period.
There are 20 people in hospital with the virus — three need oxygen and no-one is in intensive care.
There are 2,922 active cases in the Northern Territory.
ACT
The ACT has recorded 1,149 new COVID cases.
There are 42 people being treated for the virus in hospital, with four of those in intensive care.
No new COVID deaths have been reported today.
South Australia
South Australia has recorded two more COVID-related deaths, a woman in her 90s and a man in his 80s.
There have been 5,784 new cases recorded, with authorities saying modelling shows the state is likely to be around the peak of this latest wave.
There are 208 people in hospital, 12 are in ICU and one is on a ventilator.
Western Australia
There have been 8,499 new COVID cases confirmed in WA today.
Five more historical deaths have been reported, and there are 259 people with the virus in hospital.
The state has around 46,000 known active cases of the virus.
