AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh on Thursday added 1,859 new coronavirus cases to its tally that now touched 19,88,910.
In the 24 hours ending 9am on Thursday, 1,575 patients had recovered from the infection while 13 more succumbed in the state, the latest bulletin said.
The total recoveries now increased to 19,56,627 and the death toll to 13,595, the bulletin said.
The number of active cases rose by 271 to 18,688.
East Godavari reported 402, Chittoor 233, SPS Nellore 225, West Godavari 195, Guntur 182, Kadapa 148, Krishna 144 and Visakhapatnam 123 new cases in 24 hours.
While Prakasam added 96, the remaining four districts reported less than 40 new cases each.
Chittoor reported four fresh fatalities, Krishna three, East Godavari and Prakasam two each and SPS Nellore and Visakhapatnam one each in a day.
