Coventry Telegraph and BusinessLive Business Awards shortlist announced

The shortlist of businesses and people in the running to be honoured in the 2019 Coventry Telegraph and BusinessLive Business Awards has been announced.

This year marks the first time the awards have been held in conjunction with BusinessLive.

The clock is ticking down to this year’s event, which is a very special one as it marks the 25th anniversary of the awards.

Celebrating the success stories of the region, the awards night will take place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Thursday November 21.

It will also form the closing ceremony of the Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival.

A very special host will be overseeing proceedings this year in the shape of Jeremy Vine, who will also be returning to his journalistic roots.

Jeremy, who is famous for his BBC Radio 2 show and Channel 5 TV programme, began his career in journalism in 1986 as a 21-year-old trainee at the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

This year’s awards are being backed by event partners Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce - while Orbit Group, Barclays, Birmingham Airport, Wasps and Ricoh Arena, Jaguar Land Rover and the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub have all signed up as sponsors.
