The Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl after defeating the Titans 35-24 in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon. Kansas City won the AFC West this year, beating the Broncos twice on their way to the title.
The Chiefs are one of Denver’s rivals but some Broncos fans feel that it would reflect well on the divisional overall if Kansas City were to go on and win the Super Bowl. Denver wide receiver Courtland Sutton isn’t buying into that logic.
Sutton shared a meme on his Instagram story on Saturday showing his disapproval of Broncos fans rooting for the Chiefs. A Denver fan who goes by u/HoovesCarveCraters shared a screenshot of Sutton’s story on Reddit:
After defeating Tennessee, Kansas City will go on to face the winner of Sunday evening’s NFC Championship Game in the Super Bowl. The 49ers will host the Packers in the NFC title game at 4:40 p.m. MT. San Francisco is considered a 7.5-point favorite against Green Bay.
