Courteney Cox tries out Instagram's Friends filter with hilarious results

Courteney Cox's Instagram content has been on point as of late, with her hilarious slow motion tennis video and recent TikTok challenge with daughter Coco.

Now, the star has taken part in the latest craze to sweep the internet - trying out a themed Instagram filter.

Cox, 55, tried out the new Which Friends Character Are You? Instagram filter and received some unexpected (but hilarious) results.

Rather than deciding she would be her actual character, Monica Geller, the filter on the app claimed Cox was more like her cast mates.

Cox also got told she resembled her on-screen brother, David Schwimmer (Instagram)

On her first attempt, Cox got Rachel Green (played by BFF Jennifer Aniston) before a second attempt landed her with her on-screen brother, Ross (played by David Schwimmer).

A thrid attempt resulted in the filter decided Cox is most like Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and she then got Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) before it landed on Chandler (Matthew Perry).

Eventually, on her sixth turn, Cox managed to get the result everyone was expecting.

Finally, Cox got Monica Geller (Instagram)

The post has already racked up over 2 million views and sparked plenty of comments from delighted famous pals and fans:
