Courteney Cox has shared a video of her daughter Coco singing Chasing Cars with Snow Patrol lead man Gary Lightbody.
Cox – who is engaged to the band’s drummer Johnny McDaid - revealed that she has “overwhelming gratitude” to Lightbody for performing with her daughter at a charity event.
“I have overwhelming gratitude towards @garysnowpatrol for sharing his time to perform at @chords2cureI. Just love watching Coco and Gary sing together,” Cox wrote alongside the short clip.
Cox shares her 14-year-old daughter with her ex-husband David Arquette. The pair split in 2010 and their divorce was finalised three years later, with Cox getting engaged to McDaid in 2013.
Charity Chords2Cure, who raise money for paediatric cancer research through music, also shared a photo of Coco and Lightbody on stage alongside other children.
They wrote: “Crushed it! Thank you to Gary from Snow Patrol for rocking out with these amazing teens... helping to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research. @garysnowpatrol.”
Cox told Extra: “I’m not afraid of flying at all. My dad was a pilot, but I was really scared.
“When we were taking off, we heard this really loud bang and I was like, ‘Oh, that sounds like we should probably check that tyre’.
“I sent a little text to Coco, ‘I love you,’ I didn’t say why, and to Johnny. I told him everything that was going on and I FaceTimed him after.”
The Friends actress had been on the way to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico as part of former co-star Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday celebrations.
