Courteney Cox's heartbreak as she's kept apart from partner Johnny McDaid for 133 days

Courteney Cox has been left heartbroken as coronavirus continues to keep her and partner Johnny McDaid apart.

She told in an emotional post for his birthday that it's been nearly five months since they last saw each other in the flesh.

The Friends actress, 56, is still in Los Angeles while her Snow Patrol rocker beau in grounded in London.

And she's shared her frustrations with followers as she revealed just much she misses him.

Posting a snap of the two of them chatting on a video call for Johnny's 44th birthday, Courteney penned: "It's been 133 days since we were last together.

"Covid sucks. Happy birthday J.

"I loved our lunch/dinner (LA/London time) zoom date today. I miss you madly. #myone."

The pair found a spark back in 2013 and soon went official with their showbiz super-romance.

Courteney's previously told that Johnny had jetted to Europe before flights were cancelled en masse - leaving the musician stranded in the UK.

"He was supposed to go to Switzerland to write and instead had to go to England," she explained.

"Then all of a sudden, this all happened and they called a quarantine."

Courteney added: "But now it's like, oh my God, I just miss his physical touch, just all of it."

Meanwhile, Courteney will be getting ready to make her return to Friends after co-star David Schwimmer dropped a major update on the upcoming on off reunion show.

Airing on HBO Max, the show's expected to be a mix of interviews and sketches.

It will be the first time the six cast members will be back together since the show wrapped up in 2004.

Ross Geller actor David told Jimmy Fallon that while the filming had to be pushed back amid the pandemic, every safety precaution is being taken.

"It's supposed to happen maybe in August," he revealed, "the middle of August, but honestly we're going to wait and see another week or two if we all determine it's really safe enough to do so.

"And if not, then we'll wait until it's safe."

The reunion means the return of Courteney's Monica, David's Ross, Matthew Perry's Chandler, Matt Le Blanc's Joey, Jennifer Aniston's Rachel and Lisa Kudrow's Phoebe.

It's also been reported that the live audience format - which provided the laugh track for the original series - will have to scrapped as a safety measure.
