Courteney Cox makes Friends with fans at Isle of Wight festival

Actress Courteney Cox has delighted music fans at the Isle of Wight festival by mingling and taking selfies with them.

The actress, who played Monica Geller in the long-running sitcom Friends, attended the music event with her partner Johnny McDaid, the keyboard and guitar player in Snow Patrol, Saturday night’s headliners.

Ahead of the band's set, the 57-year-old star was spotted posing for selfies with revellers and festival staff.

Earlier in the week, the actress posted a picture of herself and McDaid, 45, from Londonderry, on Instagram.

Cox was holding an “access all areas” pass for the band, who are in the middle of a string of UK tour dates.

The couple were introduced by Ed Sheeran, McDaid's best friend and musical collaborator.

McDaid's extensive songwriting credits include co-writing Shape of You with Sheeran, and he is also godfather to the star's year-old daughter Lyra.

Cox and McDaid began a relationship in 2013, becoming engaged but later breaking off their engagement while remaining a couple.

The actress was previously married to her Scream co-star David Arquette for 14 years and the pair share a 17-year-old daughter, Coco.
