Courteney Cox has gushed about her Snow Patrol rocker love Johnny McDaid as she celebrates her birthday with her Friends co-stars.
Friends fans were overjoyed this week when the iconic sitcom star reunited with her former co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston to celebrate her 55th birthday.
However, millions of miles away from her rockstar partner while he is on tour in Europe, Cox admitted she was missing the Derry man on her special day.
Posting an image on her Instagram today, she said: “My all year birthday gift! I miss you J xx.”
Cox, who is based in Malibu, has previously opened up about the struggles of their long-distance relationship, as 42-year-old Johnny lives in London.
However, after spending some quality time together last month touring around Ireland before she head back to the US, the pair appeared stronger than ever.
Sharing a loved-up snap outside The Merrion in Dublin earlier this month, the star said: “Goodbye Ireland. Thank you my beautiful J for a great trip.”
Earlier in the month, Cox gushed over her love of Ireland posting an image from the beautiful grounds of Lough Eske in Co. Donegal.
She wrote: “Surrounded by the natural beauty of Ireland.”
Despite missing her man, Cox said she was grateful to spend the day surrounded by her girls.
Posing alongside her former co-stars and life long friends, Kudrow and Anniston she wrote: "How lucky am I to celebrate my birthday with these two??? I love you girls. So much."
But the actress wasn’t the only family member celebrating a milestone this week, as the occasion came just two days after Courteney’s daughter Coco celebrated her 15th birthday.
Marking her daughter’s big day, the proud mum, who shares the teenage girl with her ex-husband David Arquette shared a touching tribute.
She wrote: “Happy birthday sweet Coco!
“You are such a gift to me and have brought so much joy and love to my life.
“What a unique soul you are.
“Such a caring, kind, feisty, sensitive, hilarious, talented, goofy, free spirited, beautiful girl.
“You’re my anchor and my teacher. I love you.”
