Courteeners announce special Leeds show next month

Mancunian indie rockers Courteeners are coming to Leeds next month for a special show at the O2 Academy.

The band are playing a huge 50,000 ticket homecoming gig at Heaton park in Manchester on June 15, and will be playing two warm-up gigs in Blackpool and Leeds in the days leading up to it.

The Coral will be at the Leeds show on Monday, June 10 to provide support, as will Inhaler.

Courteeners have gradually built their fanbase since their formation in 2006, and have managed to stand out among the crowded list of alumni from Manchester's music scene.

They have carved out huge acclaim from fans and critics alike, and play at a number of festivals this summer including Kendal Calling, Tramlines and Isle of Wight Festival.

They last played in Leeds in November 2018 at the First Direct Arena.
