A youngster sexually groomed by an older man woke up naked in his bed, a court heard.
It is claimed Brandon Weyman told the 13-year-old child she was "gorgeous" and treated her to cannabis and gifts.
She told police he made sexual advances to her before she got "paralytic" and woke up beside him without any clothes on.
Weyman, 26, of Berwick Lane in Hallen, denies sexual activity with a child, meeting a child following sexual grooming and attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming.
Fiona Elder, prosecuting, said the girl made a full statement to police after she watched a TV programme in which girls were given drugs and gifts by men in order to have sex with them.
Miss Elder told Bristol Crown Court: "She understood what happened to her.
"She understood it was wrong and he acted in a criminal way."
The jury heard the couple met and then chatted via social media.
The youngster told police she told Weyman she was aged 13 from the start.
Miss Elder said: "She was given free weed and he would buy her McDonalds.
"He offered to buy her Hollister jeans and white Timberland shoes."
There came a time when they were walking and, in an isolated cut through, Weyman kissed her neck and rubbed his exposed private parts against her, the court heard.
On another occasion the girl was with Weyman when she got "paralytic drunk".
Miss Elder said: "Mr Weyman kept topping up her cup.
"She was paralytic drunk, she was drinking vodka with mixers.
"She woke up in the morning naked and next to him in bed."
It is claimed that, after meeting the youngster and having sexual activity, Weyman continued to try to meet her.
