Couples face being torn apart on Love Island as rumours circulate Lucie has quit

The Islanders are shaken when host Caroline Flack arrives with some shocking news on tonight's Love Island.

Contestants have been voting for the couple they think least compatible - but Caroline drops the bombshell that the public have been voting to save one Islander from each couple.

Elma Pazar or Anton Danyluk or Lucie Donlan or Joe Garratt now face leaving the TV villa set in Mallorca.

"So that means either Elma or Anton or either Lucie or Joe will be dumped tonight," she tells them.

Meanwhile rumours gave been circulating that surfer Lucie has quit the show.

"Has Lucie actually left or is it BS?" asked I'm A Celebrity and Dancing On Ice star Jake Quickenden on Twitter.

"Apparently Lucie has quit!" tweeted one viewer.

"If anyone is going to quit and walk from the villa it's Lucie," said another.

Lucie has been in tears multiple times over recent days.

Her love interest Joe pulled her aside when he took a dislike in her friendship with Manchester boxer Tommy Fury, who she was originally in a love triangle with.

Joe said she should be 'respecting the one she was with' prompting Women's Aid, the domestic violence charity to issue a warning over "possessive" and "abusive behaviour."

The 22-year-old has also had a troubled time with the girls in the villa who claimed she was being "distant" by choosing to spend more time with the boys instead of spending time with them.

More than 300 complaints have been made to TV watchdog Ofcom relating to how Lucie has been treated by other Islanders on the ITV2 dating show.
