Two Russians have been arrested in Kuala Lumpur over a street act involving swinging their baby by the legs and throwing it into the air.
Police acted after a video of one of their performances went viral.
The 90-second video was uploaded to Facebook by a user who described it as an “irresponsible act that can literally cause injury”.
The clip shows a man swinging the baby by the feet and raising it above his head. He also throws the girl into the air several times.
Facebook said it had not taken the video down because “it may help with rescuing the child in question”.
The four-month-old girl’s parents, in their late twenties, were reported to have been questioned over alleged child abuse.
Police chief Mazlan Lazim told local reporters the baby was unharmed.
