Public displays of affection are awkward for everyone - except the oblivious couple getting frisky.
But you would have thought face masks, which are now compulsory in many places, would ruin the moment slightly, but apparently not.
One couple raised eyebrows after they were spotted enjoying a steamy make-out session in the middle of a plane - while wearing face masks.
A snap of them tangled in each other's arms on their flight was shared on social media and has gone viral.
At the moment, because of the current coronavirus pandemic, many airlines have made wearing a face mask compulsory for passengers when travelling - and the couple were following the rules.
The man, who is clearly wearing a face mask, can be seen wrapping his arm around the woman's neck in an amorous embrace, whilst the woman appears to be kissing him.
However because of the placement of his shoulder, it's unclear whether the woman is wearing one too.
The image of the couple was taken by a fellow passenger sitting in the aisle opposite them and was shared to the @passengershaming account on Instagram.
It was captioned: "Me getting ready for the weekend with my man like…" with the hashtag #maskmakeout.
The post has since received over 10,500 likes and hundreds of comments from users finding the public kissing session disgusting.
One person said: "This seems safe I guess, but the other passengers throwing up in their masks watching this might be an issue."
Another said: "The heck? That looks uncomfortable."
A third also joked: "With the masks on. Is that like with the lights on?"
"I guess they only paid for one seat!" added another.
And one user said: "Just when I thought it was too funny not to share … it’s my airline."
