A stunning couple from Newcastle are seeking the kind stranger who captured each moment of their surprise proposal on camera outside of the Dome earlier this week.
Natalie Gray and Craig Harley were on a romantic mini-break to the capital and when passing the iconic Dome with it's beautiful Christmas lights, Craig asked a kind stranger to take a picture of the couple.
Without Natalie his now fiance or the stranger taking the pictures knowing what was about to happen the 31-year old got down on one knee to pop the question with the grand festive lights in the background.
The stunning pictures show a very shocked Natalie gasping as Craig drops down to propose followed by the couple sharing a celebratory kiss afterwards.
The couple are now seeking to find the lovely lady who took the pictures to thank her for capturing such a special moment.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live Natalie said: "We are the ones who got engaged and are trying to find the lady who took the photos.
"The lady who took the photos said she was on her honeymoon. My fiance asked her to take a photo of us outside the dome so she had no idea he was going to propose either and she just kept on snapping away capturing every emotion of the proposal."
She continued: "It was Wednesday 1st December at half 2. We are from Newcastle so it was a romantic get away for my birthday, I had no idea he was going to propose.
"It was all pretty much a blur but the lady who took the photos said she was on her honeymoon and it wasn't until we looked back at the photos that we realised she had captured the magical moment amazingly."
The couple haven't managed to track down the stranger yet but are hoping with the power of social media she will get in touch.
