INDORE: A couple, Mamta (32) and Nitin Pawar (35), were arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for the alleged murder of hotelier Ravi Thakur (42) and his girlfriend Sarita Thakur (38).
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, involved a forced extra-marital affair.
Mamta, introduced to the hotelier by Sarita, engaged in an illicit relationship. The couple quarreled when Nitin discovered the affair, leading Mamta to lure Thakur to Sarita's house, where they allegedly killed Sarita first and then attacked Thakur.
The bodies were found in a state of undress, and weapons used in the killings have been recovered. An investigation is ongoing.
