Anna Richardson shared a hack for getting toilet rolls to last longer on Channel 4's new show How to Save a Grand in 24 Hours.
The money-saving programme sees Anna and a team of cost-cutting experts help families revolutionise their lives and homes by saving money and getting the maximum effect from a minimum spend.
In the latest episode, Anna and the crew are brought in to help Matt and Jade Whitehouse, who has racked up more than £7,000 in credit card debt.
Each month, the husband and wife spend a whopping £400 on clothes each and £300 on takeaways after cooking for their children.

But when the pair were furloughed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, they were in desperate need of help - so, they called in Anna, DIY expert Eve Humphreys, restauranteur Gary Usher and Cleaning expert Peachy Clean.
The couple spent six hours with the team in a bid to slash their bills - and that they did.
After decluttering wardrobes, learning how to cook easy-to-follow recipes from scratch, and updating their bathroom on a budget, Anna shared one final hack to help make their toilet roll last longer.

She explained that the technique is as simple as flattening the toilet roll.
This means that the toilet roll can't spin as easily on the holder, and therefore, you don't use as much.
Impressed by how easy it is to cut down on loo roll, Matt and Jade thanked Anna for revealing the hack.
Previously, the team dished out some handy tips and tricks that will help you to cut your weekly food shop costs by a fraction.
