Couple have dream wedding for just £406 after asking total strangers for help

A couple from Australia managed to pull off a stunning wedding for just £406 - by asking strangers for help.

Sam and Kaylyn Taylor, who described themselves as "introverted", managed to pull off the amazing feat by eloping to Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies, and asking for help from stangers.

Photos were taken by kindhearted passers, it was made official at a local chapel and Kaylyn's dress was picked up for just £56 online.

"We're private people and both of us just saw it as the way we truly wanted to commit to each other," Kaylyn, 28, told Femail .

"We did consider a wedding briefly but to be honest it was just stressful."

So they eloped.

Kaylyn made her bouquet herself at a local florist, they said their vows on the shore of the lake and stayed out under the stars after dinner.

"We made it official by asking strangers, an older couple who'd been together for decades, to be our witnesses and they were over-the-moon excited to be," she said.

"Then we went into a Canmore church and made it official. The pastor was just so kind, genuine and put us right at ease. It was just perfect."

Dinner was gifted to them by their families and the honeymoon was spent in the same area.

In fact, their only real cost was travelling to the region, which they wanted to do anyway.

"A formal wedding just didn't reflect us or felt like it was about what really mattered, which was committing our lives to one another," Kaylyn, who is originally from Canada, said.

"We don't have a single regret about our decision. We'd do it again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing."
