A couple will get engaged on gameshow Your Face or Mine this week – but with a twist.
Kevin and Gabrielle, who met on Tinder, join hosts Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan on the sofas with an aim of winning a cash prize.
But the show takes a romantic turn when Kevin proposes to Gabrielle during the programme by spelling out the words "Will You Marry Me?" on t-shirts worn by models.
Footage from the programme shows Ryan telling Gabrielle to take her blindfold off, to which she gasps: “What the f?” when she says the message.
Her boyfriend Kevin says: “Will you marry me?” to which Gabrielle responds: “Are you serious? Sure?” as her voice cracks.
Kevin says: “Say yes, please” before she agrees.
But moments later her ex boyfriend of three years, Sam, appears on the show, and reveals he had taken “four flights, a boat, a load of taxis, a few cancelled flights” to appear on the show, adding: “It took about two and a half days just to get back.
Gabrielle is then asked to say who she believes the audience said is more attractive out of the two to win £3,600, to which she says her ex, Sam.
Kevin then says: “I’ve got to get the money back for this ring somehow, haven’t I?”
The Comedy Central show – which is reboot of the original show starring Carr and June Sarpong as hosts – sees a couple rate each other’s appearance versus audience members, celebrities, a special guest (usually an ex partner) and finally each other. If their answers match the audience then they win a cash prize.
