Couple from Parklife proposal admit they're considering Bora Bora honeymoon courtesy of festival boss

A young couple who got engaged on stage at Parklife have revealed they're looking to honeymoon in Bora Bora after festival boss Sacha Lord offered to pay for the trip.

Indy Geraghty, 23, and Myles Goodfellow, 25, hit headlines over the weekend after Myles, also known as Milo, got down on one knee on Saturday June 11 on the mainstage at the Heaton Park festival besides rapper Yung Filly, whose management team were in on the proposal.

After the pair received vile comments about their happy moment, Parklife boss Sacha Lord tracked down the couple, from Galashiels in Scotland, giving them access to Parklife and Warehouse Project for life, and offering to pay for their honeymoon.

The childhood sweethearts spoke exclusively to our sister paper The Mirror, revealing the romantic and luxury island of Bora Bora as one of their potential honeymoon destinations. The pair, who met at a house party, have been together for seven years, and engineer Milo had been trying to figure out the best way to pop the question for around a year before cafe manager Indy surprised him with Parklife tickets.

He told the Mirror: "I only had about three weeks to prepare because she bought the tickets quite last minute. When she told me we were going to Parklife I thought 'this is my opportunity'."

Milo contacted Yung Filly's management team, who quickly got back to him to say they were on board, as the pair are both massive fans of the rapper, watching all of his videos together. He quickly brought the plan together, buying a ring and leaving it with best friend Jordan to get through security without Indy finding out.

Jordan also had the important task of giving the pair a reason to go up on stage, after Milo came up with the idea to surprise Indy with a fake meet and greet with the artist which Jordan came over to tell them about.

Milo had a beer before going up on stage, and was feeling the nerves a little bit, before surprising his now-fiancée with the proposal. Clips of the proposal, and Indy's shock and happiness to the surprise, quickly went viral, spreading through social media throughout the day.

Indy told the Mirror: "It was amazing, it's a day I will never forget and a story we will be able to tell for life. I never ever expected him to propose in that way at all he’s not an out there kind of person so it was a massive shock! Completely out of my comfort zone but I wouldn’t change it for the world."

The pair were touched by Sacha's offer to pay for their honeymoon, and have been trying to come up with ideas for places they'd like to go. Bora Bora is one of the main locations they've come up with, as it's always been a dream location for the two of them, but they've not made any decisions just yet.

Indy refused to let the negative comments about the proposal affect her happy moment, and the pair are now looking forwards to planning their wedding, which Indy would love to see take place in a castle.
