A woman is scared for her own health as sewage, including excrement and toilet paper, keep flooding at her front door.
The woman, 53, who lives in a flat on Woodfarm Hey in Stockbridge Village, says she is worried about "health hazards" as sewage keeps flooding outside her home. She claimed the issue has been going on for at least four years with her housing association, ForHousing, coming to do a number of repairs.
Her partner, who comes to visit some weekends, described how last weekend (Sunday, March 12) he found toilet paper, excrement, and sewage contents flooding the communal area outside the flat. He spent a number of hours cleaning the sewage away before a contractor came to undertake a "temporary fix".

He told The ECHO: "It's a pungent toilet waste. It's water from people's toilets, taps, baths but you can imagine how awful the smell is. It really upsets my partner whenever it happens because she's a very proud woman.
"When I first started seeing her and coming to visit she would be embarrassed in case it flooded, she's the same with family and friends coming over. It's a great flat, really really great. This is the only issue and it keeps coming back."

The flooding appears in a communal area directly outside one door, and at the bottom of a set of stairs which is the only entrance to a second flat. The couple say they are worried for their own health and their dogs as they have to keep walking through the sewage.
They said: "We got in touch to ask how long it would be before it's a health hazard? We're worried about he dogs as you can't wipe them down every single time you bring them home. Then you're bringing it in on your shoes as well."
After The ECHO got in touch with For Housing a specialist contractor was sent to the propery to carry out "final works" - which have now been completed.
Nigel Sedman, Executive Director of Homes at ForHousing, said: “We received a report on Sunday 12 March about an overflow in the communal area at Woodfarm Hey. Our team attended on the day to undertake a temporary fix and clean the area until a specialist contractor could attend and carry out the final works.
"The contractor has been to the site today (Tuesday, March 14) and the work is being completed urgently. A supervisor overseeing the works will meet with her to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
“We will visit Woodfarm Hey again next week to check with tenants that they are satisfied the problem has been fully resolved.”
