Couple 'escape with £400 of booze' from Co-op store

A man and woman escaped with an ill-gotten haul of £400-worth of booze from a Co-op supermarket.

The pair struck at the Co-op in Wigan Road, Ormskirk, at around 4.20pm on May 2.

No information was given as to how they got away with such a staggering amount.

Skelmersdale Police issued a CCTV image on its Facebook page of two people they would like to speak to in relation to the theft.

They said: "We would like to speak to the two people pictured on this post in relation to a high value theft at the Co-op store on Wigan Road, Ormskirk.

"If you know them or have any information pertaining to them, please contact us by emailing 7750@lancashire.police.uk."
