Couple brilliantly recreates iconic NBA moments for their engagement photos

Engagement photoshoots can often fall into the same category as stadium proposals and gender reveals — they’re over-the-top, self-congratulatory displays for social media. (Note: For The Win Managing Editor Nate Scott’s engagement photos were very nice. You can stop reading now, Nate).

Yet, thanks to some memorable NBA moments, one Vancouver couple pulled off the best engagement photos.

Puma sales rep Andrew Rowan wasn’t a huge fan of engagement photos either. So, he struck a deal with his fiancée, Zoe Tisshaw. He’d do an engagement photoshoot only if Tisshaw agreed to recreate iconic NBA photos together.

They did, and the results were actually incredible. (Swipe through the Instagram post).

Rowan wrote:

Normally, I think engagement photo shoots are kinda stupid. BUT, I agreed to do them if Zoe agreed to reenact memorable NBA moments. ❤️

The couple went to a local basketball court and reenacted the epic LeBron-Wade photo, Harden-Durant in OKC, Allen Iverson’s step-over and, of course, Vince Carter’s dunk over Frederic Weis at the 2000 Olympics.

Yeah, nobody is topping that engagement shoot. We have our winners.
